Now for the all important midfield engine, the area where games are often won and lost, but appears to have it’s fair share of diversity with new faces and a few rookies looking like they may be keepers. Some of us will probably need some time to let the dust settle before the figures sense, others have already traded in Andrew Swallow or Jobe Watson. Three Essendon players in the top 5 is pretty good going. Stanton started well last season as well. Swanlow and Dependlebury are in the lower reaches of the top 10, but Kennedy, Dangerfield, J.Selwood, Shuey, Cotchin, Murphy, Judd & Ablett are all not in the top 10, but we’ll see how it settles down over the next month or so.
